Registration/Payments
Credit/Debit Card
Online payments are processed through Square. Payment is processed immediately, so your registration is confirmed at the time of payment.
Interac E-transfer
E-transfer payments are processed securely through Interac e-transfer service.
When you choose e-transfer, your registration is placed on hold. You are responsible for submitting payment so I receive it within 24 hours of your registration, otherwise your order will be automatically cancelled. If automatically cancelled, you are welcome to register again if there are still spots left. If you register less than 24 hours before the event, you will need to submit payment so I receive it before the event begins.
Autodeposit is enabled. The email address will be provided at registration and by email. If you are asked to create a question and answer, you have entered the wrong email address.
Refunds/Exchanges
Event Refunds
Events that include multiple sessions: 100% refund with 7 days notice before the first day of the event.
Single-day events: 100% refund with 4 days notice.
50% refund with 24 hours notice.
All events: No refund with less than 24 hours notice and for no-shows.
You may request a refund by contacting me.
If eligible, you may choose to receive a refund or a store credit toward a future event within one (1) year of credit issue date.
Refund
Refunds will be issued via the same payment method as the original purchase.
Store credit
The amount of the credit will be applied to the cost of a future purchase within one year of the credit issue date. You will need to use the same email address as the original purchase to use the credit.
If the cost of the future purchase is more than your credit, you will be responsible for paying the difference at the time of the new purchase. If you have a credit balance after paying for the future purchase, you may use the remaining credit toward another future purchase.
Store credits expire after one year.
Event Exchanges
If you want to attend a different event than one you’ve registered to attend, you may switch with 24 hours notice before the original registered event if space is available in the new event. Please contact me with your request.
Gift Cards/Promotions
Gift Cards
Gift cards are not taxable at the time of purchase. At the time of redemption, the total amount of the purchase including tax is deducted from the gift card balance.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
Events or items purchased with a gift card are eligible for exchange only.
Promotional Codes
Unless indicated otherwise, one promotional code may be used per purchase.
Data Collection and Privacy
Your personal data is used only for the purposes of processing orders, communications with you, and for any other purpose to administer this website and my business.
I receive, collect and store any information you enter on this website or through payment processing providers, or provide me in any other way, including name, email, communications, purchase history, and other personally identifiable information.
User Profile and Account
For users that register or place orders on this website, the personal information you provide is retained in your user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except the username which can never be changed. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Comments
When you leave comments on this site, the data shown in the comments form is collected, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
How Long Is Your Data Retained?
When you place an order, the order details are retained for a minimum of six (6) years in compliance with government regulations.
When you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata, including your name, email address, and website, are retained indefinitely. This is so your follow-up comments can be recognized and approved automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, several cookies will be set up to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
What Rights Do You Have Over Your data?
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data that is held about you, including any data you have provided.
You may withdraw your consent for me to store your information at any time by emailing me.
When you request that any personal data that is held about you be deleted, this does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Is your data shared?
When you make purchases or send information through forms on this website, Cloudflare’s Turnstile processes client-side “signals” including client IP, TLS fingerprint, and User‑Agent header; these signals are explicitly described in Cloudflare’s Terms and Conditions as necessary for bot detection rather than user identification.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
For comments you make on this website, an anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
