Wellbeing through connection
Heart~Soul Path circles, workshops and retreats create an environment for meaningful, rich, authentic experiences with other like-hearted and like-minded people in the community.
Step out of the whirlwind of everyday life into a warm, inviting group, away from the world for a while, gathered with others in quiet, nurturing connection. This is your time to get away from it all. Take a breather from obligations, expectations, and the noise of daily life.
Show up the way you are and just BE. No pressure to perform or impress. Just genuine, meaningful, heartfelt connection.
Transitioning into the space
We are all responsible for the energy we bring to each gathering. Our first focus is on creating an intentional container for sharing authentic time together.
Doors open in time for you to consciously transition into a slower, more mindful pace before the gathering begins.
Sink into the experience
Throughout each group, you have opportunity to speak from the soul, listen deeply to others, and take time for quiet reflection.
In all gatherings, we honour common, traditional practices of sitting in circle. No one is in front or behind, no one above nor below. All who sit with us have an honoured, respected place in the circle.
You always have the choice how much and in what way you participate. Yes is an honoured affirmation and no is a complete sentence.
While you have the option to pass on any part of the gathering, stretching outside your comfort zone can be a trusting, loving act of self-care. You know you best. Your needs are honoured and respected here.
Sharing
Everyone has the opportunity to speak uninterrupted, share their story or experience, ask questions, and be supported. This is a compassionate space where you can share what you need to in safety and without judgement.
You may wish to share in vibrant, joyful celebration. You may be struggling and in need of nurturing support. Or somewhere in between. There’s room for it all.
Come as you are, speak from the soul, and relax into this time of nourishment for your wellbeing.
Whatever you bring to the circle in the spirit of respect, consideration and kindness is welcomed and honoured.
Listening
We practice compassionate listening as we hold space for whatever emerges within the group. Those who share can do so deeply and honestly without interruption.
Unless asked, we offer no advice or feedback, just the respectful gift of witnessing and simple presence. If offering support, we first respectfully ask if the person is open to receiving it.
To maintain a sense of trust and intimacy, we keep what we’ve heard in strictest confidence. What is shared in the gatherings stays in the gatherings.
Wellbeing
These gatherings can be transformative. Participants have commented that the warm, creative atmosphere in these groups has*:
- offered relief from loneliness and isolation
- allowed them to feel more connected with their community
- helped regulate the nervous system and relieved anxiety
- fostered deep self-awareness
- helped them open and soften to a stronger sense of presence in their lives
- brought a sense of new or renewed hope and meaning
- restored joy and lightness of heart
Most leave with a greater sense of healing connection, warmth, and overall wellbeing.
Deep Awareness
The deeper nature of these gatherings can sometimes bring powerful emotional and psychological awareness or release. It can also reveal sometimes surprising, uncomfortable or heavy experiences.
This is a professional, trauma-informed environment where your experience is gently held and honoured. The gatherings offer a supportive, compassionate space in which to experience your emotions and feelings.
However, this is not counselling or therapy. If you need further resources for healing beyond what our gatherings offer, please ask and I’ll help however I can.
Facilitation and format
While the atmosphere of all gatherings is consistent, each individual group’s energy is unique; the way it is facilitated is informed by everyone who attends. Your participation matters.
Some groups are more structured than others.
Circles: The circle is lightly facilitated with just enough structure to keep the warm, connected atmosphere, and intuitively inspired in a way that nurtures whatever unfolds within the group.
Workshops: These are experiential workshops. Your participation is an important part of the flow of learning. We explore the topic within a guided agenda, with allowance for the group’s needs to emerge and inform the workshop.
Retreats: The slower pace and longer time for retreats creates spaciousness for immersing yourself more deeply into your own path with mindfulness, deepened introspection, and awareness.
Please come as you are and join us. It’s a wonderful place to just BE. Together.
Welcome.
