FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I register?
Select your event from the all events page, review all information including the “Stuff to Know” section then click on register. Once you’re ready, select “Checkout” and choose payment method.
Credit card payments will process your registration immediately.
When you choose e-transfer, your registration is placed on hold. You are responsible for submitting payment so I receive it within 24 hours of your registration, otherwise your order will be automatically cancelled. If automatically cancelled, you are welcome to register again if there are still spots left. If you register less than 24 hours before the event, you will need to submit payment so I receive it before the event begins.
Autodeposit is enabled. The email address will be provided at registration and by email. If you are asked to create a question and answer, you have entered the wrong email address.
Do all events require registration?
Yes, advance registration is always required. Please use the register button on the event page, including when using a gift card or promo code. If you have any difficulties or questions, reach out and I’ll help.
Is sliding scale available?
Compassion fees are available. Please reach out to inquire.
How do I get a 20% discount?
You can get the discount in one of two ways:
- Add three different events to your cart in one order, or
- Register three people for any one event in one order
Prices will be automatically adjusted to reflect the discount.
Do all the gatherings require a long-term commitment to attend?
Most events don’t require a commitment beyond a single date. They are purposely created to fill a need for drop-in circles and one-day events.
If gatherings do span multiple dates, they require a commitment to all dates in the series. All dates are included in the registration price and cannot be paid separately unless otherwise noted.
The duration and terms of each event will be in the Stuff to Know section.
What is your refund policy?
Please see the Terms page for info on refunds.
Where are these gatherings held?
We’ve gathered across Vancouver Island including Nanaimo, Courtenay, Comox, Errington, Coombs, Parksville, Qualicum, Duncan, Cowichan, Alberni Valley, and Tofino. I’m happy to create space for gatherings wherever else I’m asked to facilitate.
We’ve met in community centres and halls, wellness centres, yoga studios, bookstores, gift shops, living rooms, boardrooms, outdoors at the beach, in the woods, and in other spaces.
If you’d like to request a private event in your location or a custom gathering in your community, please get in touch.
Where can I find details about events?
Check each event page in the “Stuff to Know” section for important information specific to that event.
Are all events sharing circles?
No, not all our gatherings are talk-focused circles, although most events do include some time for sharing.
Can anyone attend?
Each event will specify who it is for in the description.
When ‘women’ or ‘men’ are used in gathering descriptions, it means biological women and anyone who identifies with and takes solace in the sacred feminine, or biological men and anyone who identifies with the sacred masculine.
What if I’m new to gatherings like these?
If you are new, I invite you to join us with open heart and willingness to engage in a more heart-focused way. I encourage you to check out The Heart~Soul Experience page to get a feel for what the gatherings are like.
If you have any questions, please reach out.
Do I need to bring anything?
Check the “Stuff to Know” section on each event for specific things to bring.
Is there anything I shouldn’t do or bring?
For the comfort and safety of the group, all our events are alcohol and recreational-substances free.
If there are other courtesies specific to a gathering, it will be in the “Stuff to Know” section.
Is this group therapy or counselling?
No. While this is a professional, trauma-informed space, this gathering is neither therapy nor counselling. Connecting with others in gatherings like this can be a powerful, additional support to traditional medical therapies, but it is not a substitute.
If you are experiencing untreated, significant mental health challenges, I encourage you to seek help from your doctor and/or other mental health professionals before attending.
Do the venues have wheelchair accessibility?
I make every attempt to ensure venues are wheelchair accessible. In the rare case it is not, it will be noted on the event’s page.
Is there disabled parking at the venues?
Most venues have parking on site or nearby and spots for disability parking permits. If needed, get in touch in advance and I’ll do what I can to make sure you are able to park close to where we’re meeting.
Will there be chairs to sit on?
All indoor venues have seating. If required, a BYOC (bring-your-own-chair) message will be included in the event’s “Stuff to Know” section, most often for outdoor events.
Are washrooms available?
Venues have access to restrooms, and we take occasional breaks during longer gatherings.
